via Gender Is Over — Raising My Rainbow
I wanted to share this post as the world’s children are precious and should be accepted and loved for who they are, unconditionally. And to give a gentle reminder that there are more than two genders just based on chromosomes alone (there are 5), and every type is as valuable, as wonderful and as necessary to the human species.
I personally don’t give a hoot about a person’s gender or sexuality and while there are differences between male and female biology there are far more similarities than differences, while a quick scan of the internet shows research that posits the differences amongst people “of the same gender” are far more diverse. One day I’ll get around to adding some links below.
This was a very moving piece. I feel the same way–I feel that someone’s treatment of others is what matters, above all.
